Last week I posted an article about Rory Gilmore and her lifestyle, in particular her way of working and her readings. I now want to write an article focused on methods to better retain your subjects.
- Blurting method : study until you understand the subject, take a piece of paper and write down everything you remember, mark your work and always pay attention to detail, keep doing it until you feel like you remember everything.
- Feynman technique : study the subject, teach, find the gaps in your knowledge and try to fill them, simplify. “If you can’t explain it to a six-year-old, you don’t understand it yourself” Albert Einstein.
- Mind Mapping : Begin with a central idea or topic in the center of your page, branch out with main categories, for each main category, create sub-branches to represent subtopics or subcategories, keep sub-branching ideas to expand your mind map.
- 80/20 Rule : Learn 20% that explains 80% of the topic.
I also mention a more difficult one which is Sherlock’s mind palace technique but this one is really hard and takes a lot of time so if you want to know about this one I’ll write an article for it.
Well I hope that with those methods you will have the best grades and that your study sessions will be efficacy ! I often use the Feynman technique, it works pretty well for me, so tell me in the comments which one you prefer ! Also, if you haven’t checked my instagram on the links page, I have decided to write one article every week on Sunday now ! See you next Sunday angels ! Bye Bye my little princesses !
